Tired of flying, but will not go too far? Why not try the car Train? Every few months I have to travel from Florida to New York, and then I will stay in each place for a few months. Now I do not know how about you, but I can not live so long without my car. So I take the train car.
Basically, I'm going to Sanford Florida, where they invite you to my car in their train, and I go to my private room for the cross-country ski trip. If you can afford it, definitely a room. I tried it even in a normal seat, and will never do it again. You also get a room with a bathroom, which is a definite advantage. You can also obtain seats that turn into a bed and you can fit up to four people in it. Private rooms have a tiny shower. Personally, I wait until I am where I am going, but for those of you, be sure to take your morning shower, it is a nice convenience.
A part of your diet, whether you are a private room or a carriage place, includes dinner, dessert and> Wine. There is also a cheese and wine hour in a restaurant carts at the beginning of the journey.
One aspect that I have on this trip, the people who met with love. There are snowbirds who have taken this journey, back and forth for over twenty years, and they all have stories to tell.
There are a few pages, this type of travel. It is a train so that it rocks. You have to be careful, be up and down the stairs while the train goes, and you mustCareful intensification of a dining car on the other side. There are bars along the stairs, so you hold but it is not so bad.
The other thing that you need to be aware of is that it does not take all the way to New York. The train drops you in Lorton, Virginia because of the security arrangements. Lorton is located just outside of Washington DC and there are several safety rules, which prevent them from being able to stay that close.
The good news is that nineteen hours of travelFly-by-get on the train and you have only five and a half hours after New York. And the views are awesome. Washington DC is located about fifteen minutes and must be stopped a wonderful little. And the scenery is absolutely gorgeous on the way to New York, especially in the fall. The leaves have all turned around and there are lovely orange and yellow.
Oh, and if you are any kind of disability, the train is accessible room on the lower level with private bathroom and a Disabledattendant that your dinner will be taken directly to your room. The staff is friendly and helpful and will make this aspect of your vacation as pleasant as possible.
From now on, if you want to travel and cross country have to take your car, but do not go all the way to look at the car train, may be just the answer to your prayers.
